Malls & Department Stores partially reopen with new Operating Hours

Malls, department stores, and non-leisure commercial establishments are allowed to partially open under MECQ, provided that safety protocols are implemented.  Malls and department stores have reopened with new operating hours. Please note that we are still on Community Quarantine, so that means, we need to stay home - only 1 person per household or family is allowed to go to the malls, run errands, and buy your essentials.  Mall goers will also be prohibited from “lingering.” (hindi na pwede tumambay), air-con shall be set to 26C, and free wifi will be disabled.

Select SM Malls (SM Aura, SM Megamall, SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, etc), and SM Stores are also now open for your essential needs (food, clothing, medicine, books).

Select Robinsons Malls have reopened with more of your favorite stores. Get to enjoy your favorites and shop for your essentials from 11AM to 7PM from Monday to Thursday and 10AM to 7PM from Friday to Sunday!

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls (Eastwood Mall, Lucky Chinatown, etc) will open its lifestyle malls and commercial properties across the country with new operating hours (check HERE) starting May 16, 2020.  Retail stores, services and restaurants with takeout and delivery will resume operations with the exception of places of worship, entertainment and leisure establishments, which will remain closed.

Select Ayala Malls are reopening.  Check HERE for a list of essential establishments, and their operating hours, in Ayala Malls that will be open starting May 16 and May 18, 2020 until further notice.

Essential establishments at Blue Bay Walk Macapagal are also open.

MET Live Mall in Macapagal Ave has resumed operations to cater to your lifestyle needs. New mall hours will be from 11am to 6pm.

Shangri-la Plaza Malls' MECQ new operating hours starting May 18, 2020 (until further notice) is from 11am to 7pm.  Please check HERE on which stores are open.

Power Plant Mall Rockwell will reopen on May 19, 2020, and new mall hours will be from 11am to 6pm. Check list of open stores HERE.

Century City Mall is open from 9am to 6pm.

Vista Malls reopening dates

Araneta City Malls (Gateway Mall, Ali Mall & Farmers Plaza) will be open from 11am to 7pm starting May 20, 2020, for the duration of MECQ or until further notice.

Festival Mall Alabang is open from 11am to 7pm

Landmark (Makati, TriNoma, Alabang, and Nuvali) Supermarket & Department Store Operating Hours starting May 16, until further notice.

Metro Stores Operating Hours

Let’s all do our part in keeping our mall experience safe for everyone.  Let's adapt to the new normal by wearing a mask, observing proper hygiene (washing hands properly and frequently, using alcohol or hand sanitizer) and keeping safe distances while inside the malls.

Please note that all malls are strictly implementing safety protocols.  Prior to entry, everyone is required to undergo the following procedures:

=> While on queue at the mall entrance, practice physical distancing by staying 2 meters apart.
=> Temperature scanning (those who register a temperature of 37.8’ or higher will be denied entry)
=> Checking of Valid ID (only those who are 21-59 years old are allowed entry). They may also check your quarantine pass.
=> Hand & foot sanitation (through alcohol application and/or foot bath)
=> Observance of "no face mask, no entry" policy


In addition, the following should be observed while inside the malls:
=> Wearing of face mask at all times
=> Strict physical distancing of at least 2 meters apart
=> Sanitize always before and after touching anything.

Passenger capping at elevators and escalators will also be implemented.
