FREE LRT-2 Rides for Persons with Disabilities This National Disability Rights Week!

In celebration of National Disability Rights Week (NDRW), all persons with disabilities can enjoy free rides on LRT Line 2 from July 17 to 23.

๐Ÿ•– Free ride schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Just present your PWD ID during the designated hours to avail of the free ride.



Starting July 16, all senior citizens, and PWD's can now enjoy a 50% fare discount across LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3—every single day, holidays included!

๐ŸŽŸ️ Just flash your senior citizen ID at the ticket counter or tap your white Beep card to ride for half the price.


๐Ÿ“… Promo runs daily until 2028, giving our elders a smoother, more affordable ride for the long haul.




As students head back to school, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced a 50% fare discount for all students on LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3.  The discount also applies to postgraduate students and can be used daily—including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

For LRT-2, which carries the highest number of student commuters among the three rail lines, the minimum fare is set at ₱8, while the end-to-end fare will be ₱18.

However, the 50% student discount is currently available only for single journey tickets, and is not yet applicable to Beep cards.
