  3. Dear Manila Shopper:

I am glad with, actually impressed by your site and your effort to present alternatives to people who want to help.

I too would like to be able to help the Yolanda victims. I'm thinking of donating a boat to a fisherman to help him start anew. To do this, I intend to forego with my Christmas shopping and instead give my family and friends a card saying that I had used the money for their gifts to buy a boat for a fisherman.

It is for the above reason that I write to you: to ask your permission to use as the cover for my card the picture of the boat-wreck lying along the shore at the height of Yolanda's wrath which you posted in your site.

    Hoping for your kind consideration.

    Thank you.

    Very truly yours,
    JC
