Safeguard’s SAFEWash, MWF and DepEd Join Hands to Ensure Safer Balik Eskwela

Safeguard’s SAFE Wash Program Extends to Cebu as Schools Reopen

 

Safeguard, Manila Water Foundation, and the Department of Education’s joint project, SAFE Wash in Schools, continues to help schools reopen safely by constructing more handwashing facilities across the country. Last May 25, 2022, a total of 10 schools in Cebu were awarded with handwashing facilities and hand hygiene products from Safeguard to expand the support outside of Metro Manila.

Strengthening the SAFEwash Movement: Safeguard provides PHP 5million worth of products to schools

Procter & Gamble is equipping public schools with handwashing facilities and Safeguard products to further promote the Wash in Schools initiative.


Procter & Gamble’s Safeguard, Manila Water Foundation, and the DepEd School District representatives gathered last May 9, 2022 in Microtel by Wyndham Hotel in Quezon City to take the SAFEwash Movement to new heights. Present in the turnover event were Jeune San Juan from P&G Safeguard, the Manila Water Foundation representatives led by Reginald Andal, and DepEd School Division Heads from the 17 partner locations.
