Caleruega Church, also known as the Transfiguration Chapel is located at Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas. Located at the highest point of Caleruega, this rustic church is in the midst of luscious greenery and the blooming foliage is ever present in this beautiful location.



Liliw Church, also known as St. John the Baptist Parish Church is a Roman Catholic church in Liliw, Laguna Philippines. The first church was built in wood in 1620 and a stronger stone church was built from 1643 to 1646 and was partially destroyed during the 1880 Luzon earthquake. The church is known for its red bricked façade and baroque style architecture.



Magdalena Church or St. Mary Magdalene Church was constructed in 1851-1871, and made of stones and bricks with a sandstone facade. The church is located at the town center or plaza, just across the municipal town hall of Magdalena. Historians wrote that wounded Katipunero Emilio Jacinto was brought to the church after a battle with the Spanish troops at the Maimpis River on February 1898.




Nagcarlan Church also known as San Bartolome Apostol Parish Church  is a Roman Catholic church in Nagcarlan, Laguna, Philippines. It was first built from light materials such as nipa and wood in 1583 under the chaplaincy of its first priest. The four-storey brick bell tower has bell with the Franciscan coat of arms and Muslim inspired crenelations. The tiered wall Nagcarlan church generally falls under the Baroque style.



Pagsanjan Church or Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Church, is the only Roman Catholic Church in Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines, and the oldest church in the Philippines under the patronship of Our Lady of Guadalupe and was founded on November 12, 1687. The facade of Pagsanjan church is a three-level early Renaissance styled facade with a semicircular arched main entrance, choir loft window and a three-story bell tower.


Pakil Church also known as The St. Peter of Alcantara Parish Church is a Roman Catholic church in Pakil, Laguna, Philippines. Its facade has classical Corinthian columns and cornices across a floral stone relief and to one side of the facade is a belfry housing four small bells and one huge bell.

The Santa Monica Parish Church, also known as Panay Church, is considered the oldest church on the island of Panay, Capiz, Philippines. It is also the residence of the largest church bell in the country and in Asia, and the third biggest in the world.

The Santo Niño Church, also known as The Minor Basilica of the Holy Child, in Cebu City in the Philippines, founded in the 1565, is the oldest Roman Catholic church established in the country.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando City, Pampanga is the seat of the Archdiocese of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. and was first constructed in 1755 by the Augustinian friars. The round majestic dome rising from the rotanda of the transept is reminiscent of the Baroque style with some Renaissance elements.


Tukon Church also known as Mt. Carmel Chapel in Bgy. Tukon, Basco, Batanes, nestled in a picturesque landscape, was inspired by the traditional Ivatan Houses with its stone walls and facade and equally fascinating interiors consisting of beautiful paintings of saints.

  1. Wow, nakarating ka pala ng Bacon Beach, Sorsogon. :) There are plenty of beaches in the province of Sorsogon that are far more beautiful than Bacon. But then again, Bacon is the most accessible and so many people frequent there. Anyhow thank you for featuring my beloved Bacon Beach in Sorsogon.
