Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is set to delight fans with a playful new UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection inspired by the digital world of Tamagotchi. The collaboration brings back the pixel art charm of the original virtual pet through four exclusive women’s T-shirt designs. To make the celebration even more interactive, UNIQLO has created a special UT website featuring mini-games starring Mametchi, blending fashion, fun, and nostalgia in one exciting release.
The collaboration celebrates Tamagotchi’s 30th anniversary with four women’s T-shirt designs inspired by the pixel art of the original 1996 digital pet. Each shirt features playful details—from embroidered Mametchi to colorful character lineups—capturing the nostalgic charm of raising Tamagotchi.
Priced at P790, the collection blends retro style with everyday wear. Fans can also enjoy a special mini-game, TAMAGO CATCH, where Mametchi pops out of the shell to collect items while wearing UT. Check the complete collection HERE!
The front features the attractive design of the first Tamagotchi. The game screen shows the character Kuchipatchi, in a design that expresses the origin of Tamagotchi in 1996.
A simple Tamagotchi logo adorns the chest, while the back has a lineup of colorful pixelated Tamagotchi. A pop design that brings together the characters Ginjirotchi, Kuchipatchi, Mametchi, Mimitchi, and Pochitchi.
The front features an embroidered design of Mametchi, who can only be encountered by those who have carefully raised their Tamagotchi. The back print design has scenes unique to their training games.
Mametchi appears in this design with a white Tamagotchi. The back print features a design with the process of raising Mametchi from an egg, a must-have for fans.
