Calling all Filipino & South Korean undergraduates! UP Arirang returns with the 3rd Philippine-Korean Youth Forum (PKYF) to traverse the two countries’ new and challenging social landscapes.

The Philippine-Korean Youth Forum (PKYF) 2023, with the theme "CROSSOVER: Reimagining and Embracing the Future", is a student-run forum organized by the University of the Philippines Arirang. The forum aims to connect and encourage collaboration between Filipino and Korean youth through a variety of educational and cultural activities. 

PKYF strives to cross over barriers in language and physical interaction to form relationships, attain new knowledge, and exchange ideas and solutions as we embark on the future. With these, the forum aims to forge connections and collaborations between people, in hopes that this will enlighten the youth and help them reimagine and embrace the future as the world shifts to the new normal with lesser hindrances in communication.

The forum will be composed of different topics of discussion under four (4) tracks, namely: 

Culture & Tourism

Economy and Trade

Art & Media

Governance & Diplomacy

Each track has two (2) specific topics that will serve as the foundation for the keynote lectures, interactive workshops, and plenary sessions. These topics will be about the pressing issues and/or topics that South Korea and the Philippines have in common. These are specified and elaborated each in the following page to give an overview of what the delegates can look forward to.
