Lucky Chinatown celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with delicious mooncakes, fun games and culinary treasures

Lucky Chinatown jumpstarts the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival with the launch of Love Moon Festival!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian regions to worship the moon and celebrate harvest. Many Chinese-Filipino families celebrate it by having family reunions, admiring the full moon, and eating mooncakes together.

In Lucky Chinatown, Love Moon Festival is showcasing the best of Chinese culture, delicacies, and dramas. They welcomed the event with the Giant Mooncake Display by Eng Bee Tin, with three giant Pinoy-flavored mooncake displays at the Atrium. Guests can marvel at the display while they shop in the mall or while they buy their Chinese delicacies at the Lucky Moon Fair. 

Mall-goers can easily get wonderful freebies from the vibrant celebration by joining the Tree of Luck mobile mini-game. To qualify, a guest must present a minimum single receipt worth of P2,500 from Asian Street Kitchen. The player will then be allowed to play the Tree of Luck, where they have to shake the tree to win exciting prizes!

In Lucky Eats, those who will dine at the Asian Street Kitchen are eligible to win a premium Lucky Chopsticks set! All they have to do is to collect 8 different stamps from the food shops and they will get the chopsticks for free.

In the Giant Dice Game, shoppers with a minimum receipt worth P1,500 from any Lucky Chinatown stores will be eligible to play five times a day and win great prizes.

Even those who are staying at home can revel in the occasion at Lucky Chinatown. On the official Facebook page of Lucky Chinatown, amusing online games and activities will be posted during the duration of the festival. 

In a 360 Facebook photo game Guess How Many Lanterns Are There, those who will get the correct answer will get a chance to win a special prize. Meanwhile, in Say It With A Mooncake, one can choose a mooncake based on their mood and share it on their wall!

Fans of Chinese drama “You Are My Glory” can stand next to their favorite characters through life-size standees! Lucky Chinatown has partnered with entertainment app WeTV to hold the You Are My Glory Photo Contest, where guests can take a selfie at the You Are My Glory photo station to get a chance to win exclusive watch kits from We TV.
