No credit card? No problem! Booking with Cebu Pacific Now Made Easier with More Payment Options Available

It goes without saying that Filipinos are all about making great memories and chasing after the best travel experiences. Over the years, the number of tourists flying in and out of the country has increased to about 30 million people - visiting places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and South Korea.

Despite this significant growth, there is still a number of Pinoys constrained from scoring low fares simply because they do not have credit cards. Studies show that only 23% of the Filipino population use formal banking channels, and even less own credit cards.

You do not need to have a credit card to book those low fares on Cebu Pacific. The Philippines’ leading carrier continues to expand payment options to cater to the needs and preferences of a wide variety of customers.

Bookings made via the Cebu Pacific website or mobile app can be secured through other channels. Payments must be made within 24 hours.  You may opt to pay over-the-counter via the Customer Service counters at all Robinsons and SM department stores; the bills payment counters SM and Savemore supermarkets; Bayad Centers, Cebuana Lhuillier, ECPay and LBC branches nationwide; and at 7-Eleven branches.

BDO, BPI, Metrobank and Robinsons Bank all accept over-the-counter payments for Cebu Pacific bookings. The same banks can also accept payments via their online or mobile banking portals. BancNet and Megalink also accept Cebu Pacific payments. Online transactions must be made by 11:59pm of the same day tickets were booked.

Linda Lan, Vice President of Digital Commerce for Oriente, announces its partnership with Cebu Pacific to roll out its latest innovative product: Pay with Cashalo.

Aside from these, you may also opt to fly now and pay way later via Pay with Cashalo, the first-ever non-card airline ticket financing in the Philippines. This will enable more Filipinos to travel, be it for urgent needs or for that much-needed RnR. This alternative digital-credit payment solution can be used by both first-time and frequent travelers to purchase domestic flights worth PHP7,000 and below on the Cebu Pacific website.

To proceed with your online payment with Cashalo, passengers can choose the “Pay with Cashalo” option on the payments tab. They will then be redirected to the Google Play store or App store to download the Cashalo app, sign up and apply for a quick loan. Loan settlements can be done in easy-to-pay installments within three or six months. Those who applied for a loan will be notified via email, SMS, or in-app within four hours of their application.
