Where to Buy Cheap School Supplies & Uniforms: DTI's Diskwento Caravan 2014

In time for the opening of school year this June 2014, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to stage another Balik Eskwela Edition of its Diskwento Caravan from May 21 - 22, 2014. 

During this two-day activity, participating companies will offer school supplies, bags, uniforms and shoes at discounted prices. Aside from these, they will also offer discounted necessities and prime commodities such as bread, sardines, cooking oils, processed meat, and detergent bars.


Participating companies and brands include:
SM Department Store, Advance, Amspec, Primedale, SM Hypermarket, Jam’s Bags, James Leathercraft, Fritch Sandals, Vedasto Leathergoods, Bobmar’s Shoes, C Point Shoes, San Miguel, Magnolia, Tentay, Silver Swan, Clara Ole, Julie’s Bakeshop, Baker’s Fair, CDO, SBM Herbal Soap, Capellan’s Foods, and Gardenia.

Free massage services will also be offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Other participating agencies are the National Food Authority (NFA) and Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI). 

The Balik Eskwela edition of DTI’s Diskwento Caravan will be held in front of the Trade and Investments Building, 361 Senator Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City on May 21 - 22, 2014 from 7am to 6pm.
