Panagbenga Festival 2014 Schedule of Events/Activities

This whole month of February, we will be celebrating one of the most colorful, vibrant, and festive events in the Philippines! Panagbenga (also known as Baguio Flower Festival) 2014, with this year's theme "Inspiring the Community for a Greener Tomorrow", is one of the most popular Philippine festivals which will showcase Parade of Floats, Steet Dancing & Band  Competitions, Session Road in Bloom, Market Encounter, Pony Boys Day, and many more.

Calendar of Traditional Events:

February 1:  Opening Ceremonies
                     Grand Opening Parade – Drum and Lyre Band Comp

  • 7.00 am Opening Ceremonies - Panagbenga Park (corner of South Drive and Loakan Ro
  • 8.00 am Grand Opening Parade: Drum and Lyre Band Competition (elementary division) - Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl, Burnham Park


February 1 - March 2:  Market Encounter: Landscaping Exhibition and Exposition at Lake Drive, Burnham Park.
                          :  Ifugao Bamboo Art Exhibit by the Philippine Bamboo Foundation at White House, Leonard Wood Road 

February 3:  Chinese Spring Festival Parade at Session Road 

February 3 - 9:  IPMS Baguio 10th Invitationals and Open Cosplay Competition at SM City Baguio Atrium

February 5:  10.00am Inauguration of Department of Tourism Adopted Garden at BGHMC (Baguio General Hospital Medical Center) Garden's Park 

February 7:  6 pm Baguio's Ultimate Model Search by Viva La Events Prod. at Baguio Convention Center 

February 8:  5 pm Ginuman Fest 2014 Concert and Game Show at Melvin Jones Grandstand, Burnham Park;

February 14 - 15:   Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Alumni Homecoming

February 16:  Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio
                       Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom

February 22:  Street Dancing Parade

February 23:  Grand Flower Float Parade

February 24 - March 2:   Session Road in Bloom

March 1:  Pony Boys’ Day

March 2:  Closing Ceremonies and Grand Fireworks Display
