The Philippine Travel Mart, the longest-running travel trade show in the country, is set to showcase the Philippines again, with the theme, "The Philippines is on Sale!". Check it out on August 10 - 12, 2012 from 10am to 8pm at SMX Convention Center. Entrance Fee: P50.
From this annual event, which is organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, you can expect almost 250 exhibitors presenting their tour products through colorful pavilions and booths, “Philippine Island Fun Caravan Getaways” will also be launched. These are 4-day to 8-day joint group tours and special travel packages that cover various locations from all over the Philippines, thus making them more affordable. Featured tours include the Batanes-Cagayan Northern-scape, Cordilleras Cultural Weekend Warrior Caravan, Central Visayas Backdoor tour, and the Tuna-T'Boli trail, among others.
