Flutterby Shoe The new "It-Shoe" Designed by a Filipina

Last Feb 2012, an amazing shoe design, The Flutterby Shoe bested around 800 entries from all over the world at Cinderthriller and is now the it-shoe!  The designer is no other than a Filipina, Lady San Pedro.  And imagine, this is her first-ever shoe design!

Cinderthriller is an international shoe design competition organized by Alberto Guardiani (an Italian shoe brand) and 1-D Magazine.  It brings professional designers and common people on an “equal footing” – because anybody can submit his/her design - and aims to look for a perfect shoe (reminds you of Prince Charming in The Cinderella Story, right?) design from hundreds of sketches that come from all over the world.  Lady San Pedro who was in advertising and not really a professional designer, was given a chance to join the competition, and won!  How awesome is that!  To know more about Flutterby Shoe and Lady San Pedro, please visit whatladylikes.com. The Flutterby (a name which came from Farfalla and Butterfly) Shoe, an awesome design with a detailed butterfly wing heel on a sensual bright red suede, will be part of Alberto Guardiani and will be sold in 10 Corso Como  in Milan and Collette in Paris for their FW2012 Collection.
