Celebrity Chef Food Truck Cook-Off @Manila Food & Wine Festival: Nov 21 2014

With the success of last year’s Manila Food and Wine Festival (MFWF), the Culinary Education Foundation was able to celebrate Filipino Food, Filipino chefs, and Filipino hospitality along with thousands of participants (from the tourism and restaurant industries, well-known foodies, celebrities, and the everyday Pinoy who simply loves to eat!) via a four-day culinary event which culminated in the first-ever Food Truck Challenge at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds and attended by 2,000 visitors.

So, don't miss this year's Manila Food & Wine Festival - a four-day event to unify and redefine Filipino Food Festivals. Together let us mark the Philippines as the next best food destination at par with the world’s greatest. Create a tradition that will popularize the country’s finest and talented Filipino chefs. 


Event One: Celebrity Chef Food Truck Cook-Off Challenge

Watch 12 of the country's top chefs in this food truck challenge at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds Block 12. Choose and vote your favorite team. Taste their one-of-a-kind dishes only offered on November 21, 2014. It starts at 3:00 pm until 12 midnight. Ticket prices: P50, P250, and P350. Buy your tickets HERE.


Event Two: Restaurant Participation - The Farm to Fork Experience

Enjoy set meals, customized menus and special discounts from the participating restaurants in the metropolis. Over a dozen restaurants participating to the Farm to Fork Theme that will offer deliciously amazing and great meal deals from November 3 to 30, 2014. Participating restaurants: The Blackboard by Chef Michel, The Black Pig, Brasserie Girolle, Casa Roces, Chef Jessie Restaurants, Cyma Greek Taverna, Echostore, Epicurious, Green Pastures, Corazon, Crisostomo, Elias, Felix, Lucia Ristorante, Madison's Bistro Moderne, Mother's Garden, nomama artisenal ramen, Bruce Lim's Rustique Kitchen, Todd English Food Hall, and The Wholesome Table. 


Event Three: Dinner for a Good Cause

Savor a sumptuous 5-course dinner by Solaire’s Executive Sous Chef Mateo Ragonjan, and Celebrity Chef Sau del Rosario. This specially created menu will use locally produced ingredients from small organic farms through out the Philippines.
