20th WORLDBEX Phil Building & Construction Expo: Mar 2015

This summer, economic convergence is the name of the game as Worldbex Services International, the country’s leading events and exhibition organizer returns for the 20th Philippine Building and Construction Exposition or simply, WORLDBEX 2015. It happens on March 11 - 15, 2015 at The World Trade Center.



As the region gears up for the implementation of the ASEAN economic community,  there is no better time than now to unite the industries and take great advantage of the opportunities that the phenomenon will yield for the sector.

With 500 participating companies will ensure a diverse array of exhibitors from various sectors of the industry, the 20th WORLDBEX is easily the biggest one-stop shop for industry professionals who are looking to discover new products and services. Moreover, trade players can expect to expand their existing network as WORLDBEX offers a Business Matching service on-site.

Meanwhile, some of the must-see pavillions and galleries include the International Pavillions, where close to 200 booths of international representatives are bound to showcase global technologies and innovations. Some of the countries in participation include Australia, Singapore, the US, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, China, Germany, Brunei, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Spain.

At the Architect’s Gallery, WORLDBEX invites visitors to witness the rise of contemporary Filipino architecture as it gathers the country’s top architectural firms to present scale models and envisionings of the future.

Featuring the works of the Philippine Institute of Interior Design’s top bets, WORLDBEX turns the world of design inside out as it showcases a spectrum of interior design vignettes from from living rooms to office spaces that all reflect modern day living in this global age at the Interior Designer’s Gallery.



Aiming true to its theme, the backbone of the exposition is the Grand Embassy Pavillion which puts the spotlight on the offerings of various world industries. From tourism, exports, imports, and other scale of economies, embassies will be showcasing its goods and services to harness cross boarder trade and investments. Expect presentations from countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Turkey, Germany, and Japan.

For those who are looking to nab the best prices for equally great developments, brokers and agents will be manning the the Developer’s Gallery to attend to investment and property enthusiasts. Rest assured, a smooth and all-encompassing experience can be expected at this booth.

Meanwhile, designers and home owners will surely delight in the Furniture Pavillion. Presented in partnership with the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, the much anticipated pavillion will be presenting only the most captivating, imaginative, and trend-setting creations by the country’s biggest furniture manufacturers and exporters.

Likewise, WORLDBEX believes in the importance of aesthetic as much as it champions superior quality and craftsmanship. Art takes center stage at the Art Pavillion where one can discover the vibrant local art scene that continues to flourish in Philippine culture. Plus, a capsule art fair will be featuring works by Southeast Asian artisans.


From booths and pavillions, highlighting the five-day exposition are the pocket events and activities. Not to be missed is the annual Obra Maestra Competition. Set to be held in cooperation with the Council of Interior Design Educators and Wilcon Depot, 11 schools will be competing for this year’s title.

Apart from yearly events that trade goers look forward to, WORLDBEX will also be launching two new events. One of which is the PALA Design Competition which is to be hosted in partnership with the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects. The competition will witness graduating students transform the outdoor lawn of the event grounds into works of landscape art.

On the other hand, WORLDBEX is more than excited to present the WORLDBEX Lab, which will put on display at the main lobby of the event, an outstanding range of product and design innovations from the exhibitors.

Last but not least is the WORLDBEX Seminars which will bring in 12 international and locally renowned speakers to discuss an insightful and diverse range of the industry’s most pressing issues and topics of interest.

As WORLDBEX celebrates 20 years of service for the construction industry and heralds in the beginning of a new era brought on by the ASEAN integration, wondrous presentations await trade goers and industry professionals as the year marks a significant moment not only for WORLDBEX but most importantly, the entirety of the construction industry.
