CCP Pasinaya Festival: Feb 15 2015

The most-awaited and biggest multi-arts festival in the country, the PASINAYA: CCP OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL is happening on February 15, 2015 from 7am to 7pm in various CCP venues and selected museums & galleries in Manila.  Featuring its unique “Pay What You can, See All You Can” scheme, the largest multi-arts festival in the country will showcase more than 3,000 artists and 300 shows.

Dubbed as the biggest one-day multi-arts festival in the country, Pasinaya is an open house festival held annually for one day at the CCP Center. Every possible venue at the CCP is used – theaters, lobbies, hallways, promenade areas, the alley beside the Production Design Center and are “zoned” according to the genres of music, theater, dance, film, literature, visual arts, children and family, variety and the artists market. The event also features crash workshops, film screenings, visual arts exhibitions and activities for children.

Aside from awesome performances, workshops, there will also be arts market, museum visits, food booths, arts and crafts market, photo competition, discounted tickets to selected CCP shows for the whole year, international and local performers. BIG DISCOUNTS of up to 70% will also be offered for selected CCP publications and multi-media products. Watch previews of the forthcoming season productions of the CCP and its resident companies such as Ballet Philippines, Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company, National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA), UST Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Ballet Theatre, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, Tanghalang Pilipino and the UST Symphony Orchestra.

It will also feature an arts market, trade and fair exhibits, free visits to museums in Manila, art exhibits, film showings, food booths and performances by ASEAN and Filipino artists.  Partner museums such as Intramuros Administration’s, Casa Manila, NCCA Gallery, Bahay Tsinoy, San Agustin, Metropolitan Museum of Manila, 1335 Mabini Gallery, De La Salle College of St. Benilde's Museum of Contemporary Arts & Design (MCAD), National Museum of the Philippines, Museo Marino, and Museo Pambata have renewed their commitments to showcase their fine collections of our heritage.
