The word "panic" is not in my vocabulary when it comes to shopping for Christmas gifts.  I really do my Christmas shopping early because I want to avoid the stress and that last-minute rushing around. What's great is that there are Christmas Bazaars held in various parts of the Metro for early Christmas shoppers, like me. Noel is always my go-to Christmas Bazaar for a great shopping experience. The Holiday Season is always a time for family and barkada gatherings.  When the gatherings are done in a family member's or friend's house, usually it's potluck. So, for someone who doesn't know how to bake or cook :( my Purple Oven always comes to my rescue. These baked goodies are always my favorite because they are not only yummy, they are priced reasonably, as well.  Another good thing is...there's a Purple Oven branch which is more accessible, and it's the one in San Antonio Plaza in Forbes Park Makati.

My Holiday shopping wouldn't be complete if I don't visit and shop at one of the largest Christmas bazaars in the metro, the Noel Bazaar. Yes, I could say that I am a regular Noel Bazaar shopper, so when I learned that there will be a Noel Bazaar at Filinvest Tent, a new venue, at an earlier date...I need to check it out!  I might as well start with my Christmas shopping to avoid the rush.

Caritas' Segunda Mana Charity Store: Giving is the New Way of Receiving & Buying is the New Way of Giving

**The term comes from Segunda Mano which literally means "secondhand". But in this case, Segunda Mana, also known as Caritas in Kind, is a fund-raising project (a special donations-in-kind program) that collects items you don't need—used or unused—which have value and may still be sold. It was launched on October 27, 2007 by Caritas Manila. Proceeds from the sale of donated items will fund Caritas Manila's programs for the poor.

I have been receiving Purple Oven goodies as Christmas gifts from friends for a couple of years now. These Purple Oven goodies have been very popular with my friends because they said that Purple Oven Bakeshop is one of the pasty suppliers of the largest chain of coffee shops here in the Philippines.
