Welcome the New Year with “The Kapuso Countdown to 2020: The GMA New Year Special” on December 31, at the SM MOA Seaside Boulevard! Pre-show begins at 8:00 PM and live telecast starts at 10:30 pm to 12:30 am on GMA.

Leading the grand celebration is Asia's Multimedia Star and 'The Gift' lead actor Alden Richards as he will turn up the party with high energy dance production numbers and serenade the crowd with heartfelt melodies.  Set to deliver a hot and fiery opening song and dance number is GMA's powerhouse vocalist and Asia's Pop Diva, Aliw Awardee for Best Major Concert Female Performer Julie Anne San Jose.

Bringing non-stop entertainment to the countdown special are talented Kapuso and guests Aicelle Santos, Mark Bautista, Katrina Halili, Kris Bernal, Rocco Nacino, Sanya Lopez, Sef Cadayona, Betong Sumaya, Kristoffer Martin, Jak Roberto, Migo Adecer, Klea Pineda, Kyline Alcantara, Arra San Agustin, P-POP Generation, and Buganda!

The party starts at 6pm at the Eastwood Mall- Open Park with special entertainment from Meryl, Leanne and Naara, Ebe Dancel, Ben & Ben, Careless and Rico Blanco! Plus, end your year with a bang by witnessing the dazzling Star Drop and Fireworks Display at exactly 12MN

In partnership with ABS-CBN and Think Big Taguig, ring in the the new year at the #2020Rising New Year Countdown on Tuesday, December 31, 8:00 PM, at 5th Avenue, BGC, Taguig City. Enjoy a night of cheer and entertainment with local acts including Billy Crawford, The Itchyworms, Yeng Constantino, Bamboo and so much more!

Painting another colorful year, the National Parks Development Committee shall stage the annual Rizal Park New Year Countdown to welcome “2020” at the Burnham Green, Western Section, Rizal Park, Manila. Hosted by Rakista Radio DJ Otep and Ope Cataros, the New Year’s Eve concert starts at 6:00 p.m.

The most-awaited culminating event of the park shall feature the performances of notable bands such as Hale, one of the country’s popular alternative rock bands who popularized the song “The Day You Said Goodnight”; Soapdish, pop-rock band known for their hit songs, “Tensionado” and “Pwede Ba”; and Join The Club, the only psychedelic-post-funk-folk-wave group in the country. Jam with the distinguished singer-songwriters and recording artists like Acel van Ommen, the voice behind hit songs “Torete” and “Migraine”, Ney Dimaculangan, the voice behind the theme song of ABS-CBN's fantaserye Imortal, "Walang Hanggan" and former vocalist of 6Cyclemind; and Just Hush, RnB singer-songwriter and director with more than 70,000 followers on Facebook. Joining the line-up is an alternative pop rock band that recently received fame and recognition for their hit single “Kapag Tumila ang Ulan”, Pseudo RED; and a rock band under Warner Music Philippines, GRT - Gin Rum and Truth. Highlighting the countdown with a grand fireworks display, the celebration continues with an after-countdown performance of a power world music collective in the Philippines, Anima Tierra.

Rizal Park warmly opens its grounds to the public as another great year unfolds. While enjoying the FREE concert, everyone is also reminded to practice discipline and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the park.
