Score high-quality second-hand products at bargain prices at the Community Care Yard Sale.! Happening on April 23–24, 2016, at the Second Floor of Megaworld Showroom, Forbestown Road corner 26th Street, BGC, The Fort, Taguig City, participating in this event isn’t just an opportunity to purchase products at cheaper prices, but you’ll also get to help send underprivileged kids of Taguig to school. Talk about hitting two birds with one stone, right?
The beneficiary of this event is Mano Amiga Academy, Inc., a school “that provides international quality education to children from low-income families. From preschool until the 12th grade, the school is fully committed to support this nurturing path for the students.” Currently, they have a three-classroom school at FTI, Taguig, which houses roughly 100 students. The proceeds that will be collected from the event will help in the construction of their new school that will soon provide education and livelihood to at least 1,200 families.
