Shop for charity! El Rastro Dela Beneficencia Bazaar happens on November 21, 2015 (Saturday) from 10am to 6 pm at Whitespace, in Makati. In keeping the true fashion of El Rastro, a charity bazaar, which is inspired by the typical Sunday Flea Market in Madrid Spain, will showcase unique arts & crafts, old books, vintage pieces, accessories, trinkets, clothing, antiques, functional second-hand items, and of course food and food products.
Sociedad Española de Beneficencia (SEB) is a non-profit organization established in 1948 by Spanish citizens residing in the Philippines. They focus on the indigent elderly through healthcare assistance programs and support homes for the elderly.
All proceeds from "El Rastro" charity bazaar will go to Sociedad Española de Beneficencia's programs for the elderly, in particular to the healthcare and shelter requirements of residents at (1) Santa Maria Josefa Home for the Elderly and (2) Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly.
